Ron Ortloff is the Head of Data Lake and Iceberg at Snowflake. Prior to joining Snowflake, Ron worked for Microsoft for over a decade, where he held various roles from Solution Architect to Engineering Manager, and led initiatives to build large, complex big data solutions. In his last role as a product manager lead at Microsoft, he launched Azure Synapse Analytics. Ron holds a B.A. in Computer Science, and an M.S. in Computer Software Engineering.
