
Daniel Campos
Daniel Campos is a software engineer at Snowflake, working on Retrieval, Search and RAG. Before joining Snowflake, he worked on retrieval and LLM compression at companies like Neeva, Walmart, Qualtrics, Microsoft and Neural Magic. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In his research, he helped create the MS MARCO family of datasets and has coordinated research tracks at NIST’s TREC Conferences since 2019.
